Minimizing Taxes and Maximizing Benefits through a
4 Phase Planning Process

4 PHASES SUMMARIZED. As noted on our Quick Tour, we serve clients through a 4-Phase process. Our tax-efficient planning process begins with a discussion of concepts from 400+ wealth counseling books, including those at www.vfos.com/ WealthBookList and www.vfos.com/ Books. We then review which of 300+ planning instruments can best minimize estate, gift, GST, income, capital gains, AMT, and other taxes. We summarize proposed benefits and costs in a Value Proposition Letter that shows how we help you minimize planning costs while maximizing benefits for retirement, family and favorite charities.

During PHASE 1, we focus on Discovery. We gather information about the Balance Sheet, Income and Taxes, Goals, and legal Documents ("BIG Docs"). See www.vfos.com/BIGDocs and see the Phase 1 information at www.vfos.com/Phase1. At the end of the Phase 1 meeting, we present a value proposition grid showing costs and benefits; see, e.g., www.vfos.com/VPL.

During PHASE 2, we offer to summarize ideas in a comprehensive Family Wealth Blueprint®. Working as your "architect," a lead attorney unites your advisers and integrates planning ideas into a clear plan with specific next actions for minimizing taxes while transferring more wealth to family members and/or charities. The "Fund Your Vision" brochure (at www.vfos.com/Brochures/FYV) explains more.

During PHASE 3, we coordinate with at least 6 types of implementers to execute legal documents and maintain or update your plan. The "Simplify Your Life" brochure (at www.vfos.com/Brochures/SYL) explains more. While Phase 3 implementation starts with legal document drafting, it also involves executing documents to fund legal instruments with tax-efficient asset management solutions. We use both tax-efficient portfolios of securities and high cash value "investment grade" insurance contracts.

During PHASE 4, we focus on annual administration. We offer hundreds of services, as described at www.vfos.com/ Services and www.vfos.com/ ConciergeGrid.

We would be happy to talk with you on the phone or schedule a free "Initial Consultation" to discuss which planning tools we could use to achieve your goals. See www.FreeIC.info. We are also happy to mail or email you a Family Office Law brochure to provide more details about how the Initial Consultation precedes Phases 1, 2, 3, or 4. If you cannot come to our office for a free initial meeting, you can schedule an interactive web meeting as described at www.VirtualLawyer.info.  Please feel free to call or email me any time to discuss next steps. We would sincerely value an opportunity to work with you. You can reach our team members at 800-447-7090 or at info@vfos.com.
