Lynn Moodie
Lynn practiced law in the U.K for over 14 years as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales specializing in probate and estate planning. Since moving to the U.S. she has worked as a Trusts and Estates Paralegal. Prior to joining our firm Lynn had her own paralegal business where she assisted various law firms specializing in the areas of probate and trust administration, estate planning, fiduciary accountings, conservatorships; and guardianships.
Lynn considers it a privilege to work closely and compassionately with people, helping and educating them in how to best protect their loved ones, business and assets. She views the creation of an estate or business plan the start of a long term commitment with clients and not just another legal transaction. She takes pride in being accessible to clients and being part of a team that provides clients with an outstanding service.
Education:
Lynn was educated in England gaining a Bachelor of Laws degree from the esteemed law department at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne; thereafter attending Law School, passing with distinction the equivalent of the bar finals and was admitted to the English bar to practice law in 1989. She also undertook post graduate studies at the London University Guildhall and was awarded a Master of Laws specializing in taxation and trusts.
Professional Memberships:
Lynn is still a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and maintains her name on the Roll of Solicitors every year. Lynn is an active member of the Orange County Paralegal Association and volunteers for several community organizations from the PTA to the local high school dance team booster club.
Personal:
Lynn enjoys spending time with her family and raising two daughters. Her other interests include walking, teaching the piano and travelling.
